We finally got some heat around here… but with that heat our fruit attracted fruit flies. They drove me CRAZY! I came up with this idea…

It’s just a jar with some orange peals (banana peals work too) make a funnel with a piece of paper, with a small hole in the bottom, so the flies can get in. Tape the funnel well! The little guy get trapped so well!

It’s not all my idea – I goggled fruit fly trap last Summer and it said to do this with the jar, but put apple cider vinegar in it. But I never caught any flies with that. In my frustration with the little bugs this year it hit me – but the fruit in the jar. Worked GREAT!
